Gary Staunton is a professional engineer and manager with 21 years experience in engineering and construction in Europe, Africa, Middle East and Russia of which 19 years have been spend with various subsidiaries of Kentz, an international engineering and construction group providing mechanical, piping, electrical and instrumentation services in the oil & gas, mining, metals, and industrial sectors.

He graduated in 1988 with an honours degree in mechanical engineering from UMIST and subsequently obtained an MBA from the Business School of the Netherlands. He is a member of the Institute of mechanical Engineers and is registered as a Chartered Engineer in the UK.

He has extensive international experience in project management, general management and business development.

In 2007 he participated in a management buy-out of Likusasa from Kentz and is the Chief Executive Officer.
