The management of Likusasa recognizes the requirements for Quality Assurance in
the areas in which they operate and have therefore committed themselves to the establishment
of an effective Quality Management System. The aim of the Quality Management System
is to ensure that all contractual and specification requirements are met for the
projects executed by Likusasa and to achieve a reliable and cost effective System
of Management for all the company’s activities. The Quality Management System addresses
all of its Quality Management Systems’ requirements identified in International
Standard ISO 9001:2000. The projects executed by Likusasa include; Procurement,
Construction, Installation, Testing, Commissioning and Servicing.
The Board of Directors has defined quality objectives for the company, which is
reviewed periodically to continually improve the effectiveness of the Quality Management
System and the goals of Likusasa.
To assist in achieving these aims, the Board of Directors has appointed a Quality
Assurance Manager, who is responsible for the introduction and implementation of
the Quality Management System throughout the company. The Quality Assurance Manager
has a direct reporting link to the Board of Directors on all Quality matters.
The Quality Assurance Strategy laid down in the Company Quality Manual has the full
support of the Likusasa Management committee. Furthermore, the Management committee
recognizes that Quality is the responsibility of each employee and they must therefore
accept as a condition of employment that they will, as directed, comply with the
Quality Management Systems and Procedures, as defined in the Company Quality Documentation.

The Likusasa Management committee recognises the responsibilities placed on it by
the relevant environmental legislation and regulations on the nature, scale and
environmental impacts of its activities, products and services.
Likusasa Management committee will take all reasonable steps to ensure that it complies
with legislation and other statutory requirements. Likusasa Management committee
recognises that statutory obligations and regulations are accepted as minimum requirements
only.
Likusasa, in order to meet its environmental objectives, will provide sufficient
resources of time, personnel and finance. It is also the policy of the company to
provide information, training and supervision to its work force in pursuance of
these objectives and to do everything reasonably practicable to ensure its subcontractors
provide similar resources and arrangements.
It is the duty of all personnel (including those of suppliers and subcontractors)
to take all reasonable precautions to improve our environmental performance by preventing
pollution, reducing waste, minimising hazardous waste, and recycling waste as much
as possible.
Our legal and moral responsibilities to the environment dictate that we all must
know and comply with the environmental regulations and the impact of our operations
on the environment.
In order that this policy can be complied with, the contents of this policy shall
be made available to all Likusasa employees, subcontractors and self-employed personnel
and other interested parties.

It is Likusasa policy to provide and maintain a safe and healthy work environment
at all times. The Goal of Likusasa Management committee is to prevent occupational
accidents, injuries, illnesses, environmental issues and this will be achieved by
management, who shall place accident prevention and the protection of the health
and safety of every employee, above any other consideration of job operation or
administration. The ultimate goal of Likusasa at every level of our organization
shall be to ensure at all times, throughout every phase of job operation, the safety
and health of our own employees, the Owners’/Customers’ employees, the employees
of every sub-contractor.
Likusasa recognizes that the responsibility for employee safety and health requires
constant and continuing efforts of a partnership of company management, its employees,
sub-contractors and their employees, the Customers/Owner and their employees.
Likusasa accepts its responsibility to lead in the promotion and practice of its
health and safety program.
Likusasa shall comply strictly with all legal and regulatory requirements implemented
in each country and generally accepted work practices and procedures for the protection
and promotion of the safety and health of its employees and others, who may be affected
by the group’s activities, and shall strictly adhere to all site Health & Safety
standards and job work rules and practices. Employees at all levels shall work conscientiously
and diligently to execute the Health & Safety policy of maintaining the highest
standards of occupational health and safety to prevent human suffering and losses,
which result from unsafe practices.
Likusasa shall promote and enforce the development, dissemination, implementation,
effectiveness and continual improvement of its Health & Safety program. This
policy shall be made available to other interested parties. Likusasa shall pursue
rigorous and frequent audits, to ensure that each partner in the shared responsibilities
attains the group’s goal to prevent human suffering, and to limit losses by exemplary
leadership in the prevention of accidents, injuries and illness. This policy shall
be periodically reviewed for adequateness and suitability.
Likusasa Health & Safety Policy emphasizes that every employee and official
of the company is unreservedly committed to achieving our ultimate Health &
Safety target, which is ZERO ACCIDENTS and ZERO INCIDENTS

Likusasa Management committee recognises the need to ensure all projects are executed
in a safe and professional manner.
To ensure no risks are brought to the project by means of drugs and/or alcohol usage/abuse,
Likusasa shall:
- Ensure all employees, including subcontractor’s employees commencing work on a project
site are subjected to Drug and Alcohol Testing where required,
- Ensure no employee, either of Likusasa or of subcontractors shall enter a site while
under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol,
- Ensure the Project Management Team, Construction Team, and employees are aware of
the Likusasa Drug and Alcohol Policy Statement,
- Ensure all employees are aware of their rights to confidentially and right of appeal
in relation to drugs and alcohol usage/abuse,
- Ensure Random Screening for drugs and alcohol is performed as required.

Likusasa recognizes that, from time to time, issues arise within the business, which
occasionally results in industrial disputes.
Through effective communication and consultation with Employee Representatives or
as appropriate Trade Unions, Likusasa aims to bring about the satisfactory and speedy
resolution of such issues.
Effective consultation will ensure that the views, opinions, suggestions and recommendations
of all parties are considered openly and constructively.
